New DREAMING DEAD Guitarist Interviewed By METAL ASSAULT (Audio)

January 9, 2011

On January 5, Aniruddh "Andrew" Bansal of Metal Assault conducted an interview with lead guitarist Stephanie Pickard of the Los Angeles-based extreme metal band DREAMING DEAD . You can listen to the chat below.

Pickard studied with Bruce Bouillet and Paul Gilbert of legendary shred band RACER X. She became a Minarik Guitars endorsee at the age of 16.

Pickard and DREAMING DEAD singer/guitarist Elizabeth Schall form the most shredding female guitar tandem in metal today.

Schall is a Fernandes Guitars endorsee. She will perform during the winter NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show at the Fernandes Guitars booth on January 14 and 15 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

Video footage of Pickard and Schall playing together can be viewed below.

DREAMING DEAD has drawn comparisons to DEATH, DISSECTION, and OPETH. In April, the band will enter the studio to record its new album, "Midnightmares", for a late 2011 release.
